Three-piece group Forma creates sprawling, experimental, minimalist works with electric organ, monosynths, electric monochord and drums, drawing on influences like Kraftwerk, Terry Riley, Sun Ra and Erik Satie. This custom typeface and visual treatment is in development for web and print applications.

Tim O'Connell is a book editor, sushi chef and emerging photographer. His online portfolio required a clean template to showcase different styles and formats, as well as be easy to update for Tim.

 

The apostrophe in his last name becomes the iconic mark by which he can be remembered across industries.

Greg Kooser runs a multifaceted hospitality company that needed to rebrand and position itself against larger hotel groups. The new design combines the signature Kooser 'K' from his original logo with shapes evoking such images as a pair of opening doors, a key and a gem stone. Shown here are applications for print and web, plus identity expansion for bath and body products as well as VIP services.

Nylon’s weeklong series of events during Austin’s gigantic SXSW Music Festival required a consistent identity to stand out from the crowd. The materials were co-branded with the venue while providing event sponsors the promised exposure.

Custom typography and menu concept for Italian restaurant. Each features a glossy white exterior lined with slate grey flocked paper and is bound with a gold elastic band. Sexy, iconic photography from 1950s and ’60s Italy is balanced with a clean and modern layout.

Boston’s New England Aquarium has a dated and scientific look that takes all the fun out of an otherwise fascinating aquarium experience. This rebranding concept energizes the brand with a fresher, brighter and more fun approach from the motion of the bubble motif to the soft, liquid curves of the logotype and pop colors drawn from the most vibrant and exotic sea creatures.
