Every year I've lived in New York I've hosted a Bastille Day celebration. Fake moustaches, hand fans (it's hot here in July) and plenty of wine and cheese. Each year I look forward to designing the invitation.

Every year I've lived in New York I've hosted a Bastille Day celebration. Fake moustaches, hand fans (it's hot here in July) and plenty of wine and cheese. Each year I look forward to designing the invitation.

This was the first year I hosted a Bastille Day celebration and I've kept it up the last four years.

Sharegroove

2008-2009

 

Buddies in the DJ duo Sharegroove had me do a series of flyers for their disco parties. I used my new typeface 'New Wave' for it and I believe they now have category exclusivity on its use.

Office Holiday Party

2006

 

I love a theme party. For this one we encouraged 'Creative Business Casual' attire and had a White Elephant gift exchange. We also got a water cooler and filled it with punch so everyone would actually have to stand around the water cooler. Fun.

New Year's Eve

Pig Roast

"I want people to feel uncomfortable," was the creative direction I received for a friend's going-away pig roast invitation.
