The Square Project

Eco-Fashion Blog, 2009

Designer Tara St. James was embarking on a new fashion project leading up to New York Fashion Week—a conceptual line of clothing based entirely on fabric cut into squares. She wanted to document and share her process and raise funds online.

I designed and built a custom Wordpress template for her to do just that, with calendar navigation, slideshows, an automatic countdown and links to her Kickstarter fundraising page, Twitter page, and Etsy store.

Nike

Multimedia News Release, 2009

Nike needed to release footage of its NikeNYC event by 8am the next day, and also wanted to increase exposure not only through traditional media but also to high-profile blogs. Tracking distribution of media assets was a top priority.

Working with MagicBullet Media, we proposed a video widget be part of the release, which came with easy embed-and-share functionality for non-technical bloggers, as well as built-in tracking and distribution stats for Nike's PR team. A custom, Nike branded player was designed to go along with the site, and appeared as an option alongside broadcast quality downloads and hi-res photography.
